Prerequisites: A 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate is required. Exceptions may be considered upon request to the Director.

Meet Your Instructor: Val Petrich Val Petrich is a highly respected figure in the Canadian yoga community, serving as the founder and Director of the Yoga Studio College of Canada. With a teaching career spanning since 1980 and training teachers since 1996, Val brings decades of experience. She is personally certified by the renowned BKS Iyengar and has further certifications in Psychosynthesis and from the Mysore School of Yoga. Having trained over 1200 teachers across Canada, Val is also the author of OM CANADA, a book celebrating the pioneers of yoga in the country. She resides with her partner Tom in Steveston Village, B.C.
